This review is from: Dracula: Hearts of Stone.

"Wow- this is truly one of the best books I've read in a very, very long time.

I absolutely love the way Dracula is depicted in this story- he's comical, and deadly serious at the same time, which is just a perfect mix. The characters he has around him simply add to the humor and depth of his ancient personality."

"In a fantasy land full of knights and young boys, dragons of all colors and powers, kingdoms and wars, Knights of the Dragon by A. J. Gallant will take you away from your everyday reality and hold you captive to an amazing tale with his ingenious writing style!"

Growing up is full of adventure and imagination. Remember thinking how great it would be if dragons were real, or maybe if you and your friends found a real flying saucer? Would you tell anyone?

It’s the last day of school and the members of the Saucer Club have an amazing secret that they are just KNOW could put the world in chaos and maybe even get them put in jail! When they decide to share their most awesome secret with Randy, a boy confined to a wheelchair, they had no idea what an adventure their big secret would become! True to the daring and innocence of youth, the boys are about to embark on a journey and witness things that no one has ever seen before!

The Saucer Club by A. J. Gallant is a delightful tale of the wonders of youth, friendship and a trip into the unknown that will bond these boys forever! A. J. Gallant let me be a fly on the wall, listening in on the thoughts and conversations of a band of boys who weren’t misfits, but weren’t the cool kids, either. Each boy was real. Ever wonder what boys think or talk about when adults are nowhere to be found? After reading The Saucer Club I think I have a pretty good idea and wasn’t sure whether to laugh or gasp sometimes! Being eleven is not an easy age, and these characters were most definitely caught between being a child and being a young adult, one minute they were just plain goofy, the next they showed the compassion of one far beyond their years.

I have to call this a fun read, for sure, for ANY age, although, I will admit, these boys did experiment with “language” their parents may not have approved of. (Like I said, these boys were real.) This is fantasy meets sci-fi, meets larger-than –life adventure for the kid in all of us, because, really, flying saucers could be hidden anywhere!
